My brother found this spider in his front garden the other day and said it was worth a photo. I havnt looked up what kind of spider it is. I dont think many birds would like to eat it though.

For those who are into spiders, the common name is a Jewel or Spiny Spider- Astracantha minax. They grow only to about 8mm.

8mm? meaning this thing is less than 1 cm long? That makes that shot all the more impressive!
