Really nice shots! I have a 100 gallon freshwater aquarium with african cichlids.Your shots are nice and clear. Fish can be tough to get to be still for you to phtograph. Nice job! Cool subject. He is unusual looking.

total respect!! I guess it's a well lit aquarium. I find it so hard to make pictures of fish in aquariums (p.fz10). But you are a true proffesional. Lot's of great pictures on your site, and these are just as great

thx for sharing

Acutally I am far from a professional but thanks for that compliment. I am learning everyday. I have 1400 watts of light over this aquarium so lighting is not a problem, infact, there's too much light most of the time. I have to lower my exposure value so the shots don't come out over exposed. Most of the shots on my website are pretty old and weren't taken with this new FZ20. I will be updating soon. I got this camera for christmas and decided it was time to learn the ins and outs ofphotography. I bought some close-up lenses and a tripod, I even bought a remote shutter. I am still not completely happy with my individualcoral shots but these crazy fish that sit around and don't do much swimming are great for shooting. Here's a coral shot I took yesterday that I really liked.
