I wanted to capture a bee in flight ,missed a lot of shots at first,those buggers are fast !

These are ok....! They are fast little buggers and to make matters worse getting a quick enough focus ain't exactly a piece o cake either. A little too close or a little too far, and you get a nice detail of a leaf or flower, and a blurry bee. On a hot sunny day they see to bee in less of a hurry, I think I'm onto them and as soon as we get a few more blossoms, I'm going to try again. By the time we get spring around here winter's darn near on us. May already and we had snow just a few days ago. Best regards,

Capturing bees in flight is a serious challenge. You'll notice the vast majority of shots show the bee or any insect on the flower.

Given the challenges your shots are fine.

Here's one I took a week ago. Canon 20D, 70-200 2.8L lens with Canon 1.4 XII tele extender, program mode, ISO 400 at 280mm. This is cropped about 200% and, of course, resized for uploading.
