The first two images are one item, just two parts shown to help out. The last image is another item completely.

Hint 1 of 2

Hint 2 of 2

I like the last one - a larger copy would have been great though!

No guesses so heres the answer.

The first two are parts of a dandelion seed. The second is the head of a very small insect, smaller than a mosquito. Here they are below with a stamp to show scale.

Now that's what I call an extreme close up!

What kind of gear are you using for these shots?

Thanks, John.

Wow Sean, the head of the mozzie is amazing !!

Did you have anything on the front of your 10D for these ??

Or is the stamp really a flag ? :-)

Great shots .

Stevekin.

Sigma 105 1:1 2.8 with a tamron (I think 30-70) reversed on front.

Thanks for the comments.

As soon as I can find a mosquito that is in better shape Im going to get a better one.

I was incorrect on the insect. I don't know what it is but its slightly smaller than a mosquito.
