If nobody guesses or gets it correct after a day I will add two more clues.

1 hour / 20 minutes and I will post another clue, which will probably give it away completely so guess now if you think you know.

I think Stevekin is close. It is definitely a blade of some kind. I was thinking possibly a knife use with a wood turning lathe. If Stevekin is close, it could be the clamping plate that holds the blade in a wood plane.

Heres one more shot of the tip and the whole thing next to a stamp for scale. Good job squirl033.

OK, I accept that it is a hypodermic needle. However, I still can't resolve the second picture. I figured out that the first picture shows where the needle shaft is attached to the plastic housing. The second picture is the tip. The part I can't figure out is the left side of the picture. It is either the lighting or a reflection but the picture doesn't seem to match up to the others. Help me, here....oops, I forgot. I'm beyond help. That's what I tell the clerks in fast food restaurants!

Exactly what squirl003 said. If you look at the last close up shot of the tip, that other picture you are asking about is the center section of the last image only a drop of water has been pushed out.
