I spent a half a day shooting these bubbling mud pits to get some bubbles in mid burst. This is just one of them but it is a pretty good one. Shot at 1/1000th of a second with a telephoto.

It is a nice effort. But the light seems a bit harsh to me. Definitely something with potential IMHO.

Wow. That shot's got an unreal quality I really like, almost mesmerizing. Very, very nice!

I like the second shot better. I can see where it would take a long time to get this kind of quality. I like it but would not hang it in my living room. It is more abstract/surreal. A nice job.

Thanks RRDJSERV. It works best as one shot in like a series of 3 to 4 all framed together. Kind of like a series of shots of a wave on the beach. Alone it is interesting but not the art effect most people are looking for. I just liked this one. Each bubble burst differently some smooth and then others explosively.
