Default Beautiful

Wonderful shot of one of my favorite flowers. I really like the tissue paper look.

Thats a beautiful shot. What lens and settings did you use to get so much DOF and that wonderful coloring?

Default THANKS!

Canon D30, 100mm 2.8 macro @ f/16, 1/100, iso:100, late afternoon light.

The background was not very nice, so I sampled colors from the flower and created a complementary background and frame.

Wow, it just doesn't look real, it looks like that crepe paper(right word?). Really impressive photo, and the "lack of background just makes it explode.
