not really played with a lot of the functions on my camera always stuck to what i know found out now that i can take close up shots with fantastic detail it pays to play with your camera and experiment

this shot would work better without the leaf sticking straight up at the lens. there's also too much reflection from the tops of the leaves you're focusing on... a polarizer would help with that, as would moving off to one side a bit. the B&W background helps a bit, but the composition just doesn't do it for me.
