This is one I shot with my former Sony DSC-V3. I ran after those butterflies like a madman but still couldn't catch them with their wings open.

my butterfly was suning itself :-)



pic was taken on my old olympus c4040, its now relegated to a life in kite photography

zygh i was answering 2 post in one...godfather asked what camera and i also said that the butterfly was suning itself, by that i mean it was resting in the nice warm sun- sunbathing, if u try follow a butterfly it will land and rest like that one was doing, i saw it with its wings out and very very carefully moved close to it, i had seen it and turned beep off on camera befor i approached it.

i managed to get about 6 shots of it, it was actualy the other way up with head at bottom, which didnt look as good, it was kind enough to turn round for me and i got that shot before if flew away
