Hi Jaki,

This shot was done using a single Lowel Tote Omni spot bounced from a light - off-white acoustic cealing. The subjects were placed on a non-reflective black velvet drape which provided both the floor and backdrop. The room was dark with no ambient light other than provided by the single spot.

The shot was taken from a tripod mount in RAW mode at aperture priority with the internal flash disabled. Exposure was 2.5 seconds at F16 - ISO 160. Exposure compensation was set to -2 stops to compensate for the large black area. Conversion from RAW was done via the Adobe DNG converter then converted to jpg via Adobe ARC.

Best regards,

Lin

Nice series, Lin. I think you always learn more when you work on a project like this. Good work.

Hi Jim,

They did taste great! I'm still trying to convince my wife to buy some more fruit and veggies for me to play with, but she tells me it's not cool to "play with my food" LOL

Best regards,

Lin

Hi Tom,

Thanks! Shooting the food has been a blast. I'm trying to get outdoors and do something else but the weather has been "iffy' lately. Hopefully next week I can get out and work off some of the extra calories I've consumed from snacking on my subjects!

Best regards,

Lin
