saw these flowers while hiking in the desert today ... thought they were pretty

Yes it is really pretty... It seems to have some kind of paper texture, really weird flower.

Thanks for share it!

BTW: i know these are the close-ups threads but do you have some shot showing this flower in the middle of the dessert? I think that would make an interesting and dramatic picture.

Hi JaviZ ...* thanks for the reply.* It's actually a flowering bush.* I didn't take any pictures of the bush however.* I'll be back up in that area next weekend and I'll see if I can get a good picture.* Take care.

ok, i'll be waiting for your next shots! Some small and alone bush in the middle of the desert would be great... Well, i love the pictures of the dessert full of those brown and terracota colors in any way you can mix them.

That's a demonstrative shot of a beautiful flower, indeed.
Selecting the flower in the PS and giving a little push to the midtone slider of the levels to the right would bring even a happier result, IMO. Well done, drewaz!

Hi bahadir ....* thanks for you kind comments.* I did work on this a few days ago and did get a brighter result.* This picture however, is pretty much like it looked on the bush!
