weather turned sour this afternoon, but i couldn't resist taking a couple of shots of this azalea in my front yard. not the best i've everdone, certainly, butacceptable... the first was takenmid afternoon, while it was just cloudy, and the second around 6:30 PM, just after it rained...

first one taken from about 8 feet away with 30D and Sigma 80-400 lens at 400mm, 1/800 @ f8.0, natural light. second taken from 14" with Tamron 24-135 lens at 135mm, 1/125 @ f9.0, using on-board flash.
