Thanx, that's a good example of a "screw-up" that actually made the picture better. I took a number of shots of this little flower (the blossom is about the size of a US dime) and in the one posted, you can see that the AF system screwed-up and front focused on the stem in the front of the shot. It gave the flower in the backgrounda diffused, almost dreamy quality, and it is much nicer to look at than the other ones where the focus is correct.
