Default Errors with the text editor

G'day Mods

For some time now I have been experiencing small niggles with the editor, thought it might be my system, but am now noticing similar issues with other members posts.

1) it appears that each "enter" key has become an "enter & line feed" so that 2 blank lines now appear in the actual post

To overcome this I have to resort to opening 'Preview' then erasing the extra blank lines before 'posting' as a final

2) there are times when during typing a message I have a need to swap to the 'advanced' entry screen. When I do this all my text disappears and I have to start typing again

To overcome this I now 'select-all>copy>paste' into the advanced screen

3) many messages of 6 to 10 lines incl my sig receive a message along the lines of "error- please use more than 4 words in your message"

To overcome this I have found that using the screen left-arrow I can return to my previous screen & text, then try again to post and see if it works this time

It's all a bit 'funny' ... can anyone assist with answers
ps: this text has 1 "enter" between lines except for these last 3 lines which are spaced together

Thanks & Regards, Phil

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the head's up. I'll get tech on this!

EDIT: Doesn't seem to be giving me trouble. What operating system and browser are you using?

Tech has looked at the issue and determined that you need to switch your text editor for the site to "Full CKEditor". Please do so here (and hit "Save" at the bottom of the page):
