Thankyou Steve's for hosting this site for many years ... it is sad to see it close to new postings, but I can well understand the decisions that have been made behind the scenes

Over the decade that I have been active here, I have enjoyed chatting with fellow photographers, exchanging views and information between those fellow photographers, and receiving feedback regarding my own efforts

may I extend my 'thanks' to you all for your contributions both to this site -and- to me personally with regards to my own images as posted here.

I have noted with some disappointment the falling numbers of messages being posted here, and also the increasing number of spoofed messages also being posted here. To have one of my own messages from 2011 spoofed recently was a sad wake-up call to me that all is not well

During the last year I have created user-registrations at the US-based 'Photography Talk' forum and also the UK-based 'Photography Forum', also as Ozzie_Traveller. Should any of you choose to join either forum, I will look forward to meeting with you again.
