Is there IP camera viewing software that supports live h264 over http instead of rtsp ? Using http ensures reliable data transfer while rtsp does not. This can cause video data rates to be 5x to 10x larger. Note that I said "x" for times, not "%".

Not sure if this is a serious question but how about either a "please can you help" at the start or a "thank you" at the end of it

Wasn't convinced earlier when I saw it go up, it it is then I'm certainly no the right person to answer the question or even know what it is.

I'm not enough of a software geek to be able to help with this question. I have, in the past, though used IP Camera Viewer 3 to monitor local cameras, and Team Viewer software for remote access. The combination worked for me, though I can't definitely say which protocol was used.
A forum more oriented to computer networking would probably be able to give the answer. Mark; it is good to see you on the job. I have been wondering what happened to all the mods here. |
