Default Dates seem strange

I just noticed that the last time i was here was Dec 31, 1969! Wow! I didn't even have a computer then. The system must be a bit confused.

Caryl:

The forums were migrated from wowBB to new vBulletin software on May 6, and some information like the last visit date was not transferred from the old system.

After you log out and log back in again, you'll see the last visit date updated.

Caryl:

I checked your profile info, and looks like your notifications are currently set properly for instant notification, and your e-mail address should work OK.

Check to make sure e-mail from Steve's isn't ending up in your Spam box for some reason. If so, mark it as "Not Spam".

You may also want to check your subscribed threads list. Here's a direct link:

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/subscription.php

It will show you the current notification status of any threads you're subscribed to.

The way the system works, if your e-mail notification wasn't set for Instant at the time you posted to a thread, it won't change to Instant when you change your profile info (that only impacts threads you posted to *after* you set the notification to the way you want it).

But, you can change existing threads to instant notification if desired by going to your subscribed threads list and checking the threads you want to change (or click the check box at the top of the list to select all threads on the same page).

Then, go to the bottom of the subscribed threads page and you'll see a drop down list of choices for "selected threads" that will allow you to change all of the selected threads to instant notification if desired.

If that doesn't solve it, send me a PM and we can look into it further (for example, verifying that you're using the e-mail address I see in your profile).
