New design is great, clean & uncluttered, easy to navigate. Liked the old design, like this better.

I can access the new site with Firefox, but not with IE ver 6.0. Using IE ver 6.0 the home page starts to open, but then freezes and locks up. Ctrl-Alt-Delete to Task Manager and ending the task is the only way out from there.

This is because the new site uses a lot of javascript. IE6's javascript engine is terrible and can not handle the contents of this page. There are also a number of other features of the site that IE6 will not support, for example, transparent PNGs.

IE6 is no longer supported by Microsoft, and many large websites (like Google and YouTube) have announced that they will no longer build code to support IE6.

I would seriously recommend upgrading to IE7 or IE8 (the current version). In IE6, select Tools > Windows Update. If IE6 is still installed, I would be willing to bet that there are a number of security patches that you will also need. It is always best to keep your operating system current with updates.

I'm using IE7 and everything is fine. Liked the old site design and like the new. To me the content of a website is more important than the cosmetics and it is the content of this site/forum that brought me here.

Regards

I'm posting this reply via Firefox using the IE Tab addon. Everything seems to work with it so far. You can get it here:

Chrome has been fastest for me so far on the new site design. Loving it.

The message board works just fine with sea monkey.... the font itself at first was hard to read but got used to it over time on the message board.... I liked the old website setup on the main page better than the new set-up; liked it WAY BETTER. But all the info is still there if you know where to look.
