I just checked it using Opera, Firefox, IE 8 and Safari; and I'm not seeing any issues with with the main page a http://www.steves-digicams.com (menu choices at top look fine and they appear to work fine).

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache and/or cookies to see if that could be an issue? Any new plugins or add-ons installed in your browser lately? How about a new adware or anti-malware program that could be causing an issue?

Have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same symptoms (in case it's a connectivity problem from your location with one of the servers content is being pulled from versus a browser specific issue)?

That's weird, I'm seeing none of these symptoms in both Ubuntu or Win7 using FireFox and Chrome.

Do you have a slower Internet connection? I've noticed some loading problems in the past, however that was only when I was using a slower than normal (for me) connection.

Hello Jim and Billy ,apologies for not getting back sooner.
I have re installed both I.E and Firefox as both of them were giving me problems with your home page, plus when I had an E.mail clicking on the link was not connecting me??.
I usually get into S.Ds through a desktop shortcut, that is not working not only for S.Ds but one or two others. When I went into S.Ds through I.EXplorer via Goolge or Firefox via Yahoo the normal blue bar at the top had no sections on it like Forums, Reviews etc but if I clicked approx there these features were available.I have now re installed both I. Ex + Google and Firefox +Yahoo. I.EX+ Google is ok but Firefox Yahoo when I type in Steves Digicams .com Steves Digicams.co.uk comes up and I have to jump through hoops to find SDs .com.Thats not normal. Plus my desktops are not connecting me but my Email link is since the re install.
My wife siezed the pc up this morning typing a microsoft word document.I had to manually shut it down but it seemed ok when restarted, plus I recently ran CCcleaner??which I have done in the past.
I thought it was a problem your end otherwise I wouldn't have bothered you

Since my last message, my desktop is acting normally with the other S.Cuts but S.Ds is still coming up with this abbreviated home page.Firefox now appears to be behaving itself and is coming through to SD.s .com ok, so if I can figure out whats wrong with my desktop link, all will be normal.
I think this is a great site so when it appears something/one is sabotaging I let you know straight away.
Why re-installing was nescessary I dont know.
I have just given F.F another go and guess what abbreviated version through Yahoo GGRRR!!
The recent revies pictures are missing some pics and just have grey text.
google is still ok.

Hopefully, something odd just caused some temporary corruption when your PC was shut down abnormally earlier.

But, you may want to scan your PC using a vew different products, just in case malware is part of the problem and you've got some adware running or browser hijacking going on (very common with user installed search toolbars).

I'd probably give malwarebytes a go from safe mode as a first step. Then, perhaps scan with a few others. You can see some of the products I use with Windows in this post (I use quite a few to try an enhance my protection, but none of them are foolproof):

I have just tried using F. F with Google and still the corrupt S.Ds but oK with Int.Ex.+ Google
So it seems to be a Fire Fox problem with SD.s .from my PC.
Thanks for the help.

If it's with FF, it may be one or more of your extensions.

I'm doing a malwarebytes scan at the mo.JimC. I usually use Spybot. The former is taking a lot longer so it might be doing a better job.
Meanwhile I have made I.E my default browser so now my desktop shortcut works.
It now is just a F.F problem not showing the full S.Ds home page.??

Gjtoth, I might have look at that if I knew what an extension was.
Trouble is I grew up with gas lighting and a Crystal Set for a radio.
So I'm playing catch up here :-)

Just to finish this off,I have this morning uninstalled F.F again completely including bookmarks etc and re installed it.
Now I can get S.Ds uncorrupted finally, the first re install I did yesterday made no difference??
The strange this was, that I am on other forums, another photographic, one music, one sport ,they were all ok, the problem was only here, thats what made me think it was at this end.
Anyway alls well that ends well. Thanks for the help
By the way Jim Malwarebytes did pick up some Malware, that Spybot appears to have missed, so I'll stay with that, thanks.

P.S I still dont know what an extension is,unless it's a hair extension ,I need one of those :-)
