Default Just noticed a change

Previously, when I clicked on one of the major forum sections, the browser window would snap to that section, or if reading a thread, I clicked on one of the links at the top, it would snap there. Now, if I click from a thread, the intermediate link (welcome center, from this post) takes me to the forums home, and clicking on section headers does nothing. (using Firefox)
Is this change due to the same forum update that caused the links?
And is it permanent or a glitch?

Using SeaMonkey browser and it used to be when I click on my favorite link for the forms it would go directly to the forum and I would be signed in with my color scheme etc. But, in the last 3 days it has forced me to sign in even though I clicked for it to remember me. This only started happening when I noticed the links showing up in the posts that Billy said were caused by some software update....

Dave:

I'd try clearing your cookies and cache. If that doesn't solve it, I'd make sure you're not using some type of Private Browsing option that prevents cookies from being stored.

Brian:

I think the latest vbseo update performed last week allows some new options for how links are being generated, and it looks like links to individual sections are not working now. For example, the following links no longer work. I've reported the issue the update created to the tech team. Thanks for the report.

Thanks, Jim. It does seem that everything with the # in the url is skipped, so the links all go back to the forum home.
