.. I hope I am not repeating someones post. But, if I understand correctly, you can get an adapter for a Canon Rebel XT and put it on a scope and take a nice picture for far less money than getting a $1500 telephoto lens?? If so, how much noise will be in the picture, if any? Is it too cumbersome to hold and carry or can you just leave it alone and put it on a tripod?
Sorry for all the questions, but so much to find out. Don't want to make a mistake with the money. Thank you for all your great post in the past to help me and others out. rob

There are many answers to your questions. Most of those answers would be accurate but useless.

Join a local bird watching group and you will quickly understand and appreciate the pluses and minuses of "digiscoping".
