Default Digiscoping through a Stereomicroscope

The set up is pretty much the same as for the microscope in my "Chronomid" post, though one can simply take images through such scopes simply by holding the camera to the eyepiece of the microscopes. However, bracketing the camera to the phototube of the microscope, if it has one, is much easier.

Here is the stereomicroscope, a Meiji EMZ-13TR with beam splitter and a Sony DSC-W5 5 mega pixel camera, bracket mounted to the phototube with an Orion SteadyPix camera mount.

And now the images taken with the set up, the foot of a honeybee.

A grain of sand on the foot of the first one.
