Default New to digiscoping! But I can not take pictures!

I have an Swarovski HD-ATS-80 Spotting Scope with a Sony DSC-200 point and shoot camera. I need a Sony VAD-PHC adapter to use this camera. I did find two used ones in the internet......but they are very pricey!

Is there any other way to use my DSC-200 camera with my Swarovski DCB-Angled Attachment?

Maybe I should ask for recommendations for another inexpensive camera that will attach to my Swarovski DCB attachment?

Open to guidance and/or recommendations?

Are there any other alternatives?

I'm not familiar with your camera, or for that matter hooking a "scope" up to any P&S, but you might want to look here for ideas:

Neither am I familiar with the Sony camera, but I only use cameras that have a filter adapter tube with threads that can be attached to an eyepiece or scope adapter. Fine cameras are the LX3 and the Nikon P6000, both of which are a bit pricey. The discontinued Canon A590 is a good digiscoping camera but does not auto focus very well. It is available for less than $100. Few cameras digiscope well.

I like my Orion OTA 80ED which can use the standard 1 1/4 Baadar Hyperion eyepieces, but you cannot use these with the Swaro. The are threaded on top. Gene
