I've have a 640ps and a 730ps and run a couple tousand prints through each. Never a printing problem. Once in a great while dust will mess up a print. They claim to have cured this with a dust flap on the 400. Trouble free and excellent prints everytime.

Do I have to update the firmware for the printer as well as the driver? What software do you use to do large quanties?

i'll second the 730PS. great printer, fast, cheap consumables, and lab quality prints in 4x6, 5x7, 6x8.
The only issue i have is that if i haven't used it in a long while (a few weeks), the first print will often have some dust on it. But if i remember to blow or shake off the top paper before printing, the problem goes away easy enough.
