Question for Steve and/or Hiti owners!

I am so torn over my Hiti purchase. I finally decided to go with the Hiti dye sub printer over an inkjet printer, now I have a new dilemna.
I don't know whether or not to go with the 630PL or the 630PS. Do these 2 printers have the same print quality? This is the main issue I need to resolve.
I kind of like the idea of the stand alone unit, and being able to insert the CF card directly into the printer, but I don't know if that feature is something I will ever need. I don't plan on taking it anywhere, I am to clumsy for something like that :D
Thanks!

Hey SSD,

If you do ot plan on taking the printer anywhere than the 630 PL is the printer for you. They both print at the same DPI. I have the 640 PS which is one of the newest HITI printers. It is the stand alone printer. I use it a lot with and without the computer.

HITI makes a great product and their customer service is very helpful and they respond to you very quickly.

dujie has covered the difference between the pl and ps version. I am very pleased that I chose the ps version. I like to be able to use the printer without having to drag along my laptop. You can purchase the 630ps for $169 with free shipping at this web location:

Be sure to pickup some of the photo packs at $17 at the same location.

Thanks for the replies :D
Do the PS and the PL produce the same picture quality?

Phil

The only difference between the PS and the PL is that you do not need a computer with the PS, but you can use it with your computer.

Thanks! I think I will go with the PS
It's nice to finally be able to make a decision :D
