Hi: First-time poster. Looks like a great group of forums!
I have both Canon ZoomBrowser and Google Picassa photo organizing software. Both have easy-to-use methods of backing up images to a CD. I was just wondering if there is a neat way in either program to note when an image has been backed up, and also to get a list of backed-up images. I know I can do this manually by wordprocessor. It would be great if I could look at the images in a folder in ZoomBrowser or Picassa and see a mark or notation on an image that has been backed up onto a CD so that I don't duplicate the back-up. Thanks for any help.

I don't have Picasa in front of me right now, but I believe when you use it's back up feature, it will track it for you. I just can't remember how.

Picasa is great for viewing but if you have a lot of files then you should perhaps look into cataloging software like iMatch or iView. These will track your backups much better than Picasa, although they aren't better priced since Picasa is free.
