I've posted this on a couple of other boards, and I thought I'd try here too.

I'm going to start dabbling in infrared photography with my D50 this weekend, when my Hoya R72 filter arrives (can't wait!). Now, I've read many times about swapping the red & blue color channels in IR shots with Photoshop to get that lovely otherworldly glow in landscape scenes.

I use Nikon Capture NX on my Mac at home though - does anyone know if it's possible to achieve the same kind of effect; can color channels be swapped in NX in a way similar to Photoshop? I'd rather do it in NX if possible, instead of buying Photoshop.

In any case, your expert comments etc. (not to mention patience...) would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance...
