The only thing I really miss from 4.0 compared to 6.0 which are the two versions I have (other than the freebee 5.0 version I got) is when adding text to a picture in 4.0 you are able to pick the "blend mode" for the test colour which allows you to marble the colouring of the text when you sellect the "Luminosity" tab. Kinda makes things look a little cooler compared to standard text:

Oh well, just means its a two program effort to edited photo's... just would have been nice to see this feature continue into the newer versions.

I don't know about ACDSee 6, but I tried 5 and wasn't too happy with it. Sure it's still a good program but the new bells and whistles do more harm than good. I stay with 3.1 it does anything I want, the changes I saw in v5 were mostly interface things and some features. But they didn't really make the software more useful or easy to me...

Curious about v6 tho. Is there much new functionality??
