Default lightroom or DxO's Optics pro 6?

I have digital photo professional 3.7 and need another that gives me more control. What program would be better Lightroom or DxO's Optics or something else?

well, each of them offer a trial version, so feel free to try them both out.

i personally use Lightroom. and find the image management very useful.

I'd suggest that you download the trial editions, install them and see what you like (from a features and workflow perspective).

You may also want to give Bibble Pro a spin. I'd also give the new Bibble 5 Preview 2 a try (some features don't work yet, but it's shaping up quite nicely). Note that if you purchase Bibble 4, you'll get a free upgrade to Bibble 5 when it's released. It's also cross platform (with versions available for Windows, Linux, and Mac users). That's important to me (since I use Linux most of the time).
