Default Just complaining...

I bought photoshop elements 2.0 last night. It is completely overwhelming for a newbie like me. Previously, I owned Microsoft Picture It. I wanted to start doing more with my photos, so that is why I went with photoshop. Hopefully, I can have some time to play around with it this weekend. Right now, I've just done some quick fixes and such. I may try to post a pic of my two boys to see if you guys can give me some feedback. Thanks for listening!

Amy, there's probably not a single person here who hasn't gone through the same thing. I worked my way up from Adobe's PhotoDeluxe, through their then scaled-down version of Photoshop (can't remember its name), and then thought I was ready for big-brother Photoshop. The program was overwhelming and what I did in it was underwhelming. Come to think of it, I'm still often underwhelmed with I do in it.

You'll do just fine. Be patient with yourself. And buy a book.
