Default exif data???

wow, I always make some changes to a photo and thus exif will never be used. Not good. Is ver. 7 like that?

Just my two cents.. I had extreme slow down in PS and after much research, found it was caused by Norton Utiliies.. specifically the Recycle Bin tool that allows you to recover files. Seems this adds so much overhead to PS that it really slows it down: disable this function if you run PS.

regarding EXIF metadata.. I posted this in the General Q&A, but since the discussion touched on it here, I will ask again: I am looking for a way or utility to modify the EXIF data of photos. Some of the fields (such as copyright, subject, location, etc) are modifiable; I can modify them one photo at a time in PS7 and in ACDSee, but I would like to be able to batch process a folder of photos all at once. Anyone know how to do this?
