I am probably going to switch from a PC to a Mac in the near future. I am currently using elements 2 and will probably go to elements 3. My wife, however, prefers to keep her software simple-minded (her words--not mine). She is currently using picture it. what is available that is similar enough to picture it that her learning curve will not be too steep?

Here's a very basic, but very powerful little graphics app. that comes with the higher end G5's. Others can purchase but it's very reasonable:

Picture it is avaliable for mac just like most popular softwares are,

My photoshop elements 2 was good for my pc and my new powerbook(i didn't have to buy a new photoshop ) I just got ps cs for xmas. That's a learning curve Mac's come with iPhoto which is ok,

So her learning curve is the same if she is using the same program.

this is a school program but someone is making it for mac

All new Macs come with graphic converter 4.9 which has photo editor and effects in it> its part of the bundle
