can u guys recomend an easy to use software package to crop a person from an image in a generally white backing. I have noticed some magazines that have amazing crops of images where you can even see the gaps between the hair. Surely someone cant sit there and do them indivdually on photoshop

Anything easy to use would be awesome

thanks guys

Photoshop will probably do it as well as anything.

Select>Color Range. Mess with the slider until you get the white down in the hairs. Then go to the magic wand in contiguous and Alt-click anything within the image that got selected. Then hit the delete key.

A little feathering makes the transition better but can mess with the spaces between the hairs.
