does anyone have any experience regarding this digital slave flash?

i'm curious. planning on buying one for my powershot G5.

I own one, and it totally is an impressive device. I use it for portraits or out door night time/ whenever there is poor lighting situations. If your camera has a hot shoe (which I believe) it is easily mounted on top of your camera. If you don't have a hot shoe on the camera, just use a camera bracket to mount under the camera.

My only advice is that if your subject is too close, position the flash head 40-90 degrees above the subject. The flash is so bright that sometimes my photos look over exposed if the head isn't positioned accordingly.
