I just purchase a nikon d80 and am looking for a flash. I understand that my old sunpak 444d will not work with the new digitals, so I have to decide on the Nikon sb600 or possibly the sunpak pz5000. Unfortunately Tocad, the company that makes the sunpak are not very good at returning phone call when I have called their technical department.

The SB-600 is an excellent choice for your Nikon DLSR followed by the SB-800!

I would buy the SB-600, it will do everything you need.
