Help Sunpak 522 Flash Repair
My flash unit as noted above has not been used for several years, and as I am retired now, I would like to take up my hobby of film photography. Live in Orange County, Ca. and have tried locating a repair facility in my area but not much luck. If there is anyone who could refer me to reputable repair shop, I would be a very happy person. Thank You

You may want to consider buying another one versus repairing the old one.. They're relatively inexpensive on the used market. You'll find some at vendors of used gear like

For example, a Sunpak 522 with a bracket and PC Sync cord is running around $49 now in bargain condition from (or you could get one in Excellent Condition for around $69), and most used gear from also includes a short term (60 days from invoice data) warranty. See this link for examples:

Maybe you will decide to switch over to digital (Keep up with the Jones`s) If so your flash may not be suitable for a modern digital camera. You could bin it and with all that lovely lolly pension start afresh.
