Hey all,

I've got an S2 and am trying to mount a Promaster 7600 flash on it. All batteries are full and everything seems to be in working order. I've set the flash to every possible mode, and while it will go off manually, I can't get it to go off when I actually take a picture... anybody got any ideas?

Make sure the flash have a trigger voltage acceptable for your camera

the site does not list your flash model, so you may measure it yourself.

1) short manually the flash's hotshoe (with a wire) , it should fire, if not, the flash's hothoeis faulty (since you can make it fire manually with test button).

2) use an analog ohmmeter to check the camera hot shoe (rail + center pin) , the metter needle should move briefly, if not, the camera hotshoe is faulty or the camera not propely set (I don't khow your camera operation)
