I need a suitable external flash for taking mostly indoor (real Estate) pictures with a Minolt Dimage A1.

Need some good advice on which flash to buy.

I do not know what electric and mechanical specs I should look for, so I need help to get a suitable one. Since Miolta ask more tha $200 for their external flash, I had hoped to find a more affordable solution

Apprecate any suggestions

Thanks

This one is similar to the HS5600D in features (but not in price): http://www.sigma-photo.com/html/news/500dg_super.htm

If you don't need the wireless multi-flashes Master/Slaves feature then the ST is slightly cheaper: http://www.sigma-photo.com/html/news/500dg_st.htm

... I think you need the multi-strobes feature though for large indoor structure to cover the large expanse ;)

Not sure about heAB-28 but it might be possible if that flash is a manual flash. Or fully automatic (not TTL). In that case you can use an adapter like this one http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...698&is=REG

It converts the Minolta hotshoe to a standard hotshoe. So you can use a standard dumb flash with the A1 with it. I have used a Sunpak 383 without any problems with this adapter.

I just picked up a Quantaray (Sunpak) PZ-1 for my A2 it seems to be pretty interesting (lots of fun looking features) like multi flashing (strobe), automatic zooming with the camera. It's another one of those similar to the 5600 in power but not in price. It's worth looking at but until I get more experience with it I can't really tell you if it is any good or not at this point.
