Could anyone give me an idea of how much drain the Vivitar 283 is on batteries? Say...typical 2000mAh NiMH AA batteries. I have a Vivitar 283 coming in the mail, and I'm thinking of buying a new set of NiMHs, wondering if I should get 4 or 8. Life-time measured in no. of typical flashes would be helpful.

NiCads :
