I purchased the
Metz 58 AF-1 TTL and it will arrive soon. This flash has auto zoom but will the autozoom work with a SigmaZoom Super Wide Angle 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Aspherical (IF) Lens for Pentax Digital SLR? http://www.preferredphoto.com/viewpr...&l=Froogle I can't tell exactly what mount this lens is other than it is for Pentax Digital SLR. The Metz has autozooming from 28-105mm. This lense is 18-200mm. Would the flash be able to read the zoom of the lense, or do I need a pentax DA lens, Confused. |

![]() Normally the flash is controlled by the camera body - The lens info is part of the exif that the camera included anyway (i.e. aperture and focal lenght) with the captured images -> The body know the focal lenght (and the crop-factor) so it should be able to control the flash properly if it's designed correctly! |
