Does anyone out there know where I might buy a Sunpak 120J Parabolic Reflector Flash Unit? I tried B&H Photo and they don't have them. They actually said that Sunpak is not making that flash unit anymore. If I cannot find one of these units what would be similar?

Thanks for any help.

You might try the used market.
B&H sell used equipment as do Midwest Photo Exchange (http://www.mpex.com/), KEH, Adorama and others.

The other (expensive) option would be a Quantum unit.

I have a a Sunpak 120J TTL Parabolic Reflector Flash Unit complete with battery pack, manual, charger, STD-1D interface module (for manual operation), CA-2D interface module (for Canon) both in boxes with instructions.

This unit was used maybe 6 times and has absolutely no dings, dents or scratches. I just charged the battery and it holds a charge well. Even the silver "TR-PAK II" lettering on the leather case looks new!

The only thing that keeps me from saying "Like New" is the belt straps on the back of the power pack. One is broken, the other one is cracked. They were not substantially made. The shoulder strap looks new.

Let me know if your interested and we'll work out a price.

I have one, that I no longer use. Also a Sunpak 544, and two Vivitar 285HVs, that have been retired (like me). Just shooting for fun these days!
