I would point out that there was a time when cameras used flashbulbs, and we had things called guide numbers, and cameras had to be set manually, and noobies did just fine because they followed the directions -- which were a helluva lot simpler than the manuals nowadays. I learned that way.

Let's not get too elitist, shall we?

Hi and welcome to Steve's.

This is an 18 month old thread which hopefully helped out the OP.

Steve's is not like a lot of other photo forums, we have some great members with a wealth of knowledge shared and refreshingly unconfrontationalposts. It sounds like you have beenin the game for quite a while and it would be good to have you on board but please don't try to get a rise out of people, especially on a first post.

Thanks,

Mark
