Default FL-40 Question

I`ve got an Olympus FL-40 flash. I saw at the manual that it can work in TTL and R-TTL mode. Please can anybody tell me what does it mean R-TTL mode. What is the difference between TTL and R-TTL.

Since no one has answered this yet, check out:

"The R setting is for a future camera model (I got this info directly from Olympus-America)."

(Maybe rapid TTL?)
