Default Zenon MagneFlash 57 Review Posted

Looking for a nifty flash for closeup, product or head-n-shoulder portraits? Then check out this flat-panel flash unit.

Can you program the device to account for the pre-flash? Pretty Nifty

Thanks for the review. 3 questions:

1. Not having looked, are there comparable products
that are worth a look? My main use would be product
photography.

2. Any guesses as to whether this would work with a
Sony DSC-F828? (I don't have one, but it's the leading
candidate to consume the cash just earned by selling
all my Canon 35mm gear). I might even sell the 533G,
too.

3. What are the complications with pre-flash? My
guesses are one or both of:
a. Pre-flash fires the slaves too, oops.
b. Pre-flash is used by camera to preset exposure,
based on presumed light output of built-in or
dedicated flash - not whatever the slave emit.
