I'm a newbie and I bought a Canon 300D with Promaster 7500dx on eBay. I can't get the external light to work with the camera. The flash works fine when I click the test button. Can someone tell me the right settings?

Here is the promaster manual link but it isn't helpful at all: http://www.promaster.com/books/Instr...als/7500DX.pdf

Here is the canon manual for reference: http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/09000002...R300DIM-EN.PDF

I found the solution. The hot shoe was bent and didn't tighten down the flash attachment. I fixed it with ducket tape. I wish I had a more attractive solution.
