Default Xtra info

Extra info :
Since I have a 45CT-4 and not the new version 45CL-4 , I asked Metz if the adapter for CL4 support the CT4 as well, the answer is yes.

" The adapter SCA 3302 M3 can also be used with the mecablitz 45 CT-4.
But you need additionally the connection cable SCA 3000C. With these
Items a connection to camera Minolta Dimage 7i is also possible. "

( the same cable is needed for CT4 or CL4)

(I thought this is interesting because there are a lot of CT4 on the used market )

Default Metz for me

On vacation now and happened by a little camera shop in Ft. Wayne Indiana. Lo and behold they have a used Metz 45CL-4 at a reasonable price. Everything in good working order and only a few superficial scratches so I snagged it. Unfortunately won't be able to use it until I get back to Phoenix as I left my sync adapter there. Based on my results with a Nikon SB-16 I'm glad I got a flash with the secondary fill flash tube.

FWIW $199.95 + cheap Indiana 5% sales tax instead of shipping. Comparable to used prices I've seen. Only thing significant missing is the wide angle diffuser.

The 3302 M3 adapter for the Dimage 5/7/7i isn't available in the US yet according to B&H. After the results I'm getting in thyristor mode I'm not sure I'll want to spend the money when it is available.
