Default FZ35 flash mode for external slave flash

Sarah,...Once you get the G1, what are your long term plans for getting other lenses. Are you going after telephoto, Macro, portrait, etc. Since you have so many other cameras, do you sell them,.. and how do you do this without losing lots of $$$.

I'm really enjoying my FZ35,... The other night we had the lighting of our annual Christmas tree and our Women's Choris gave a holiday performance in our Recreation Center. My wife has practiced for 2 months for this event and then last Wednesday she came down with a horrible soar throat and could not perform. I was able to shoot the entire performance in HD video with the FZ35 and the video was outstanding. I don't know why I would ever want to get a new Camcorder since I can shoot 4+ hours of HD video on my 32 GB chip.

Every time I shoot a still image I'm amazed at the image quaity and the sharpness and the excellent focus, even on very difficult subjects, and at all zoom ranges.

trigger-

I bought the G-1 with the 14-45mm and 45-200mm lenses. I rotate my cameras often, and have no trouble selling them on E-Bay. E-Bay is an acquired skill and if you are experienced, your losses will be zero to minimal.

Sarah,... Wow,... those sound likd some expensive lenses. I assume they are both image stabilized. I've sold many things on ebay but I've not been that lucky. I've tried with "reserve Prices" and without and sometimes it works,...but most of the time it does not. Right now the Canon S3 IS seems to be selling for about $150. What would you suggest. Mine is in absolute top condition, with all the books, box, and I even have the lens adapter to go with it.

Buying and selling on E-Bay is an acquired skill. I made many mistakes when I started, but I gradually learned over time. There is a good book in the "Dummies" Series on E-By that might be a good investment as well as helpful.

The two lenses that I got with the Panasonic G-1 are image stabilized lenses.

Have a great weekend.

Sarah,... This thread started out about External flashes for the FZ35 but I've been totally consumed with family stuff and getting ready for Xmas. I don't have the time right now to continue the testing I was doing on the Zeikos external flash. Hopefully I can get back to this task after Xmas, as my days are already defined by others.
