i found a local craigslist ad with a guy selling 2 sb800s i think i have him talked down to $350 for both

It's a great deal if both units still function well. Lots of people not happy with the sb900 'conservative' approach to overheating and shutting down when sb800s continue to fire away. It's always dicey though buying electronic gear on craigslist. If it's local then I suggest you plan on meeting him to try the flashes out. Bring your camera gear and own batteries and be prepared to test out the 'master / commander' (cant remember what terminology nikon uses) capability of the flashes and put them through their paces.

i guess he said one of the 2 is almost fresh out to box he is selling cheap due to the fact of a loss of interest in photography and he wants to pay some cedit card bills lol he also has 2 pocket wizard transciever 2 for sale for 100 each but i dont think i have a use for those
