Default Olympus C-750 and Metz 54 MZ-3 flash. Will it work ?

Olympus C-750 and Metz 54 MZ-3 flash.

Anybody knows if this flash will work with this camera. (C-750 has a TTL Hot Shoe).
I hope that this flash will help the camera focusing in low light.
Iím a little concerned about the trigger voltage. Will this flash damage my camera?
Also, is there something else I need beside the flash? Adaptor, cables...

I will be grateful for any replies.

I used my 54MZ-3 on my E-10 back in the days, and it worked flawlessly. I bought the flash and the SCA-3202 which allowed for TTL operation. It says in the back of the SCA-3202 module that it's compatible with a variety of C-series cameras, including the C-700UZ and C-4040Z (both used a 5-pin connector on the body as opposed to a hotshoe I believe, requiring a special cable), E-10/20, etc, so chances are it could work with your C-750. As for the AF assit light on the 54, according to my SCA-3202 manual it says all Camedia cameras do not support this feature on Mecablitz flash units It didn't work on my E-10. Olympus should have other flashes that could be cheaper alternatives for you, unless you already own a 54MZ-3.
