Default Adapter to use older Nikon Speedlights on D100

Is there any kind of adapter available that would allow an SB-26 or other older type Nikon flash to be used on a D100 with all features available. Just clipping the SB-26 on the D100 loses the TTL features. I was thinking there might be a small adapter that would mount on the hot-shoe and allow the flash to mount on top.

I have not seen one, INHO if you can take the 28 and trade it in at your local Pro camera shop for the SB-80 you won't be dissapointed. Good Luck..

OK, let's reverse directions here. If I upgrade the flash to an SB-80. will the SB-80 work on my F100 35mm body which is not DTTL?

Yes it will work on the F-100 . In the SB-80 manual the F-100 is listed as a group I camera group.
